On the afternoon of June 20, we held the graduation ceremony of the class of 2021 students of our university simultaneously in the Red Hall of the main venue library and the Blue Hall of the branch venue. Participants who attend the graduation ceremony are Cao Jiji, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Zhu Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Zhiping, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Xu Chaoshan, Ma Yu and Huang Baoling, Vice Presidents of the University, Leaders of relevant functional departments, heads of colleges, the full-time counselors, graduate head teachers as well as more than 600 graduate representatives. And Huang Baoling presided over the graduation ceremony.
The ceremony kicked off in the class of 2021 students' Graduation commemoration video. The participating teachers and students reviewed the good times of the students in the past three years and witnessed their youth at the time of enrollment to maturity at the time of graduation.
Zhu Wanqi, a student of Marketing Class 2031 of the School of Economics and Management, sent the best wishes to the seniors and sisters who were about to leave their Alma Mater on behalf of all the students, expressing that she would take their efforts and excellence as an example and prepare for entering the society in the future.
Zhou Baozhi, a full-time counselor of the College of Vehicle Engineering and the College of Rail Transit, delivered a speech as a teacher representative. He hoped that graduates would uphold the school motto spirit of knowing and action to go hand in hand, work bravely, be frank and take every step steadily.
Zhu Ping read out the commendation decision for outstanding graduates. The leaders of the rostrum awarded honorary certificates and graduation certificates to the representatives of outstanding graduates.
Ren Jiahong, a student of Class 1831, Internet of Things, School of Information Engineering, spoke as a representative of graduates. As the winner of five first-class scholarships and national scholarships and the first female president of the Student Union of the School of Information, she shared her three-year campus experience and said that in the future, she will take the school motto as the driving force and make efforts to move forward towards a better future with the most heroic and steady steps. She expressed her gratitude to the school on behalf of all the graduating students of the class of 2021.
Liu Haibo, a 1994 graduate of class 212 majoring in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and general manager of Nanjing Haibo Machinery Co., Ltd., spoke as a representative of alumni enterprises. He shared his entrepreneurial experience and wished all students of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology could cherish their dreams, bravely shoulder the responsibility of the times and repay the society with their knowledge and ability.
Cao Genji sent a message to the class of 2021 graduates. On behalf of the school, he extended warm congratulations to 3766 graduates and heartfelt thanks to teachers and parents who helped graduates grow up all the way. In line with the school's philosophy, he sent a message to the class of 2021 graduates that first, we should be concerned about the motherland and be a responsible person; second, we should to advocate technology and to be capable people; third, we should be a person with a mind and be open and sharing; fourth, we should pursue excellence and be an ideal person. He also expressed his most sincere wishes to the class of 2021 students. He stressed that this year marks the centenary of the founding of the Party, standing at a new historical starting point, he hopes that graduates will resonate with their personal growth and national development and contribute their youth to building China into a powerful socialist modern country.
